Her class for Spring Inspiration - LET'S DO IT SIDEWAYS!
During this class Jan will show you everything you need to know about knitting a beautiful sideways garment. This class is very comprehensive including measurements, pattern placement and matching. She also covers the all-important neckline, (crew and V neck) and finishing.
Jan is bringing many garments to share including matching skirts.

Will a beginner get lost in this class?
No she won't get lost as I will help her understand what I am doing, it will be all shown for her on the board, step by step, it is simple really! if she is knitting up from the Basque (hem)and is understanding what she is doing, then doing it sideways is just as easy if not easier! it is for all levels of knitters from beginners who can cast on and cast off (that is important) to more advanced knitters, I am simply showing short cuts! but "Good Shortcuts" I do not compromise the garments in any way and the finishes of the garments are excellent and easy! - Jan

Charlene Shafer is from Peru, Indiana and started machine knitting in January of 1969. Teaching is a love and knitting is a passion. Charlene will be sharing her vast knowledge of Design - A - Knit (DAK). She will be helping you stretch your knowledge of DAK by focusing on Intermedia Stitch Designer and Original Pattern Drafting.
This will be a follow along style class. Charlene will cover as much material as possible. Attendees are invited to bring their notebook computers, but it is not a "hand's on" class. She will not be able to troubleshoot computer issues, or work one-on-one with individuals.
